Project Overview

We're seeking a skilled volunteer to assist us in conducting grant research to help us bring in additional support for our initiatives.

Primary project activities will include:
- Conducting research to identify up to 20 grant opportunities from various sources, including government agencies, foundations, and corporate philanthropy programs. This list of prospects will include contact information, deadlines, and application requirements.
- Analyzing grant guidelines and criteria to determine alignment with our organization's mission and programs.
- Research the identified foundations and philanthropic organizations to assess their focus areas, funding priorities, and application processes.

At Bahini Education Project, our mission is to educate and empower young women in rural Nepal. Your expertise can be the catalyst for change, helping us reach more people, garner support, and ultimately empower more young women. If you are passionate about making a difference, if you believe in the power of education and empowerment, and if you have skills in grant writing/development, we invite you to join our team. We hope this opportunity allows volunteers to make a significant impact on the lives of young girls in Nepal, while also gaining valuable experience and developing their skills in grant writing and nonprofit development.

We have prepared for this project in the following ways:
- Needs Assessment: Conducted comprehensive assessments to identify the educational needs of young girls in Nepal, including surveys and community consultations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Established partnerships with local schools, community leaders, and other nonprofits to ensure community support and collaboration.
- Resource Allocation: Secured initial resources, including educational materials, technology, and trained personnel, to support project activities.
