Our nonprofit is seeking a volunteer to research grant opportunities to support our mission. This project involves identifying and researching foundations that align with our mission to expand direct democracy. The objective is to compile a list of 20 potential funding sources and gather detailed information on their grant opportunities, criteria, and deadlines.

What We Need:
- Length: Estimated 3-5 Weeks
- Availability: 3-5 hours per week

- Tasks:
- Identify foundations and grant-making organizations that align with our mission and objectives.
- Gather detailed information on each identified foundation, including funding priorities, grant amounts, application processes, deadlines, and past grantees.
- Compile the researched information for 20 grant opportunities in a spreadsheet for easy reference.

We currently have limited experience in grant research and are seeking help to establish a systematic approach to researching and applying for grants. This project aims to build a solid foundation for our grant acquisition efforts.

Project Plan:
1. Preparation:
- Initial consultation to understand organizational needs and funding priorities
- Review existing documents and information
2. Milestones:
- Week 1: Begin gathering detailed information and begin search.
- Week 2: Start compiling foundational information into a database.
- Week 3: Continue research
- Week 4: Complete detailed research and finalize the researched list.
- Week 5: Review and finalize the report with the project manager.
