Project Overview
We are seeking a video production professional to help us create a short video about our work. Friends of NYC NFP is a nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of mothers and babies in the NYC Nurse-Family Partnership program. We have dedicated staff, board, and current and past clients who combined would make for a fantastic testimonial video; however, we need more bandwidth and professional expertise to create something. We would welcome the help of a professional to develop a video that will inspire donors and increase donations. We have a lot of wonderful testimonials from clients, including submissions like "I'm extremely grateful and honored. Words can't even explain thank you all who is involved to help make my dreams come into reality." and "Thank you so much! I’m so happy I’ll be able to get things done without relying on anyone else and at the comfort of my home while also taking care of my daughter." We also have clients that are willing to share photos and be on camera. We have dedicated board members, but we don't have video. We have a dedicated development manager who has experience supporting a video being put together. We have testimonials and connections to clients. We'd love a great piece of video to help with our year end fundraising and inspire new donors.
Nonprofit Overview
Nurse-Family Partnership is a nationwide, evidence-based home visiting model for low-income pregnant mothers. Nurses visit mothers from pregnancy until their child is two years old, providing education and support to create dramatic improvements in outcomes for babies.
As The Friends, our mission is to improve babies’ lives by assuring that NYC NFP has the resources to fully achieve its goals. We provide financial assistance to mothers to allow them to pursue higher education and we pay for activities and events that increase their social and community connections. We also provide benefits for nurses that advance their skills and contribute to their satisfaction and retention. None of these additional services are available under the basic government-funded program. Friends increases the impact of the program on NYC clients.
