Establish Azure Integration with Website

We currently use SharePoint for our intranet and want to build a staff directory page that pulls the organizational information from Active Directory/Azure. The directory needs to be dynamic and update itself when as staff are onboard or terminated.

Our current directory resides on an external website and has to be manually edited using HTML code. The specialist who maintained that page has taken a job elsewhere. It has become burdensome to keep the existing directory updated. We have tried going to vendor route but the SOW quotes have been beyond our budgetary constraints.

The basic infrastructure for our SharePoint intranet is in place and functioning well. This would only be a separate page of the existing intranet that pulls together all the information into an attractive and searchable directory page.
