We are seeking an experienced grant writer to help our nonprofit write its first grant.

Our nonprofit, Creshendo, is launching the “Migrant Voices: Story-Telling Project”, which is an innovative initiative that leverages the power of storytelling to raise global awareness about the challenges faced by displaced individuals. (See: http://storycorps.org/stories/ as an example of the type of animated storytelling that our project intends to do, but with a specific focus on refugees and forcibly displaced populations).

The project aims to humanize the experiences of migrants and refugees, fostering empathy and mobilizing support. By leveraging storytelling, Creshendo will raise global awareness, foster empathy, and drive significant change in how refugees are viewed, treated, and received.

As our first grant application, securing funds will enable us to:
- Provide a platform for refugees to share their stories and promote mental health.
- Foster empathy and understanding among listeners, driving advocacy and policy changes.
- Build a sustainable model for continued support and storytelling.

By volunteering with us, you will:
- Help share powerful refugee stories and make their experiences heard.
- Contribute to a project that breaks down prejudices and inspires positive change.
- Be part of a global team that values and compensates refugee contributions, ensuring their involvement in the project.

We have organized a dedicated team of volunteers from 5 continents, along with skilled board members. We've prepared a structured concept plan for the project, as well as a budget proposal. We've also hired a team of refugees to create the animations for the podcast episodes, as it is important for us to include the very people Creshendo serves.
