Website Design Updates

We want to update a website that was created more than 8 years ago with a fresh look. We do not have a dedicated website person and need support for creating a new website. Specifically, we need the following:

- Move content from the current site to a new, engaging website - with an attractive landing page. A page that grabs the viewer’s attention and stay on the page.
- A page that a viewer can quickly see what the page is about and easily find information.
- Access to social media feeds.
- Advise us on how to create a clean landing page that isn’t crowded with details.
- Allow staff to be able to update content without having much technological knowledge.
- Brief training with the content creator to help us understand the new website.

Our current website is dated and needs a new look! We are a very small non-profit. A new page would help our organization attract new audiences and donors and build an understanding of the critical issues we work on - making the connections between human and planetary well-being.

The website should be able to depict the vision and mission of our organization clearly. Viewers should easily be able to discern what we do and access more information.

We also need to improve our search engine optimization to attract new audiences.

Mission: Transition Earth advocates for a thriving world by supporting the empowerment of people by linking population, health and environment.

We engage with people - especially global youth - on issues related to population growth, such as sexual and reproductive rights, climate change, and overconsumption of resources. We do this through blogs, social media, webinars, and public events.

We have content so this website is not going to be started from scratch. Our current website and blog have content ready to move over. We have a folder of photos to use on the website.

Two staff people will be available and ready to work with the designer in a timely and responsive manner. This is something we have wanted to do for a long time.
