Grant Writing Support

Our nonprofit is looking for a volunteer with experience in grant writing to assist us in drafting 10 grant proposals for submission to specific funders (provided by Way To Live Foundation).

The volunteer will share completed grant proposal drafts to Way To Live Foundation grant coordinators for approval and official submission. The volunteer will also note relevant details in our internal grant tracking spreadsheet.

As we continue to expand our outreach, we recognize the importance of securing more funding. We need experts in grant research and grant writing to help us to be more competitive in our search for funding. Robust funding will help us assure that we can continue to help families and individuals maintain optimal wellness through obtaining: affordable housing, healthy sustainable food, and knowledge about how to attain and sustain wellness. We have identified specific funders to send grant proposals to and have created a spreadsheet to track applications. We have drafted grant narratives for use if necessary. The funding we receive from grantors (due to applications submitted by our pro bono professional) will be used for the various nonprofit community programs we offer: Food Access, Affordable Housing, and Family Enrichment Programs. We will use the information identifying future grants and other funding opportunities to secure additional funding and make our organization more sustainable.
