Advisory Board Recruitment: Outreach Material Development & Execution

We are seeking 1-2 skilled volunteers to help Urban Innovators strategically grow and diversify our Advisory Board. The project will involve developing recruitment materials and supporting our team in executing an initial round of outreach to potential board members.

Are you passionate about empowering underrepresented communities and building leadership pipelines for systems-impacted women and veterans? Urban Innovators is seeking 1-2 dedicated volunteers to help us expand our Advisory Board, which plays a critical role in shaping our strategy, fundraising, and program development.

Your expertise in board development, recruitment, or community engagement will directly support our mission to create economic independence and leadership opportunities for those who need it most. We have already identified key strategic goals for Urban Innovators, including the need to expand our Advisory Board to include diverse skills and networks. Our leadership team has outlined specific areas of expertise we need on the board (such as fundraising, marketing, and DEI), and we have begun initial outreach to potential candidates. Once our volunteers completes the project, we will use the recruitment materials and outreach plan developed to systematically grow our Advisory Board.

We plan to onboard new members in phases, beginning with an orientation session that introduces them to our mission, strategic objectives, and their roles and responsibilities as advisors. This will ensure a smooth transition and immediate engagement with our organizational goals.
