We are seeking a skilled volunteer with expertise in QuickBooks to assist with our bookkeeping needs. As a growing nonprofit, accurate and efficient financial management is critical to our success. Your support will help us better track expenses, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements for grants and to maintain our nonprofit status.

Deliverables:
Review and organize our current QuickBooks setup.
Help categorize and input financial transactions.
Provide guidance on generating financial reports.
Offer recommendations for streamlining our bookkeeping process to align with nonprofit best practices.

Skills Needed:
Proficiency in QuickBooks (desktop or online versions).
Experience with nonprofit accounting and bookkeeping.
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.

Time Commitment:
We estimate this project will require 2-5 hours over a 4-week period.

We are excited to work with you and greatly appreciate your willingness to share your skills to support our cause!

This project will support our mission by strengthening our financial management practices, allowing us to allocate resources more effectively and transparently. With accurate bookkeeping in QuickBooks, we can ensure compliance, build trust with donors, and make data-driven decisions. Your assistance will also help when we are applying for grants, which is critical to our success!

We have Quickbooks all setup, but our finances have grown slightly more complex than we have the know-how for. We simply need someone with the expertise to help us figure out how to be sure we're using Quickbooks effectively and things are being done accurately.

Sister Cities Project addresses racial equity and the racial wealth gap by formally partnering affluent, predominantly white communities with historically marginalized, predominantly non-white communities. Through these partnerships, we foster meaningful connections and relationships between residents, and intentionally direct resources, investment, and support into the historically marginalized community. We deliver on this through our "ecosystem" model, consisting of three impact areas: Community Connections, Business Growth, and Workforce Development--all of which are essential to nurturing a thriving community.
