Strategic Plan Revision

We are seeking professional help in designing a forward-facing version of our Annual Report and three-year strategic plan. This would involve helping us turn our data and copy into a compelling visual narrative and graphic presentation that we can use to solicit support from our community. We are hoping to grow our organization over the next few years to support 60 schools with 350+ teacher leaders—with your support, this will be possible.

Our ideal volunteer has experience designing brochures or reports and will be prepared to show us their portfolio of design examples. We hope you can spend 15-20 hours over the next 2 months.

Professional design help is a luxury that we cannot afford and yet lack of strong marketing materials is preventing us from growing our organization. As we work to retain Chicago's excellent teachers in the classroom to teach our most underserved students, we would be so appreciative of help from a Taproot volunteer!

-Logo/Visual Branding Guidelines
-Page by Page Slides that includes:
--Strategic Initiatives
--Metrics/Stats to include
--Timelines
--Theory of Action

Timeline:
End of February/March:
-Meet with a skilled designer and chat through basic layout options + design direction

By End of January:
- Designer works on design direction options

February:
- Designer moves forward based on the selected design direction
- Max 2 rounds of Review (1 round to ensure design choices match with the intended message in copy, 1 round for small final tweaks)

We hope to have a forward facing Strategic Plan created by the beginning of March/April that will be shared on our website, sent to our board of directors, and used as a fundraising tool for the coming school year.
