Social Media Content Calendar and Strategy
We're looking for a volunteer to help us streamline and enhance our social media strategy, with the added opportunity to work with college interns arriving in February 2025 to maintain the momentum. In this role, you'll create a one-month social posting calendar template that we can use to manage our multiple social media channels efficiently. You'll draft copy for 15 to 20 posts and provide recommendations on customizing content for different platforms. Additionally, we'll seek your input on utilizing tools to automate our social media posts. The final deliverable will be the completed calendar template with 15 to 20 posts.
This role is an excellent fit if you're passionate about our mission, have experience managing professional social media accounts, and can dedicate 10 hours over one to three weeks to the project.
This project will support our organization's mission by strengthening our social media presence, allowing us to better engage with our community, raise awareness about our initiatives, and improve our impact. Creating a strategic social media calendar and optimizing content for different platforms will enable us to communicate our programs, events, and the value we bring to the community more effectively. Additionally, the project will help us build a foundation for ongoing social media management, which will be maintained by interns arriving in February 2025, ensuring long-term consistency and outreach. Finally, it will help us foster deeper connections, increase visibility, and advance our mission to support food security, education, and community engagement.
To prepare for the project, we will provide you with our events calendar, social media handles of key organizations in our sector, and a file of photos and logos. Additionally, you'll receive a list of our hashtags, review pictures taken throughout the season, and discuss other relevant strategies to ensure the project's success. The opportunity will include ongoing collaboration with interns arriving in February 2025 to help maintain the social media efforts long-term.
