We're seeking a volunteer to help us save time and be more strategic with our social media presence. Specifically, you'll create a one-month social posting calendar template that we can leverage to make managing our multiple social media channels easy. You'll draft copy for fifteen to twenty posts and make recommendations to customize our content to optimize it for different platforms. We will seek your input on using tools to automate our social media postings. The final deliverable will be the calendar template you create filled with fifteen to twenty different posts.

You're a great fit for us if you're passionate about our mission, you have a background in managing professional social media accounts, and you can spend ten hours over one to three weeks on this project.

We have ideas and a lot we can post, we just need help implementing a plan and support with content so we can be excellent and consistent. We would love to work with people who enhance their creative superpowers with AI. We're trying to really engage people with posts, carousels, and stitch-worthy reels to raise rapid awareness for the crisis happening right now in NC. If I get interest from multiple service providers, I'm up for putting together a team that can divide and conquer on the various platforms and aspects of content creation.

The backstory:

According to multiple NC Supreme Court verdicts, the state of NC owes $5.54B to public schools. In fact, over the 30 years that "Leandro v. NC" has been in court, Leandro has never lost. If Leandro was to be funded, every child would have access to early childhood education, every classroom and school would be led by well-trained competent, and supported educators and administrators and every child would have access to a sound basic education which is their right according to the NC Constitution. Instead, 69% of our kids are not on track for college or a career. Although NC has $4.75B in the rainy day fund, they refuse to release the funds to implement the Leandro Plan to create a cradle-to-career education system in 8 years.
This case is in court yet again and we expect a decision in March.

Our mission - should you accept - is to make Leandro ubiquitous on social media in NC. Everyone needs to know about Leandro and how we can work together to get "Leandro" out of the courtroom and into the classroom.

To prepare for the project, we will provide you with our events calendar and other relevant social media handles of organizations that are pillars in our sector. You'll have access to our CanvaPRO account with a brand kit, a Google Drive of content ideas, and a list of our hashtags.
