Wix Website Design

We seek a web designer to create structure and design options for our nonprofit website, which uses Wix Hosting. The volunteer should assess and incorporate our goals and needs and consider our key audiences. The designer should also assess our technical capabilities. The project's deliverable is a draft of architecture and design concepts that we can easily share with a web developer volunteer or a member of our team who will use the guide to create our new site.

Our work will take place over multiple meetings in six to nine weeks. In our first meeting, the volunteer should interview us about our desired features, our web capabilities, and our technical expertise. Then, they'll synthesize the information into a requirements briefing. We'll engage in various check-ins, where a member or members of our team will provide feedback. The volunteer will audit our current site to create a draft of site architecture and design options including wireframes, site structure, and other visual elements.

This project will support the Seven Hillz Productions Foundation's mission by enhancing its online presence and accessibility. A well-designed website will serve as a central hub to:

1. **Communicate Our Mission**: Clearly convey our commitment to empowering underserved youth in film and media, showcasing our programs, scholarships, mentorship opportunities, and success stories.

2. **Engage the Community**: Provide an inclusive platform where students, mentors, donors, and community partners can connect, collaborate, and stay informed about upcoming initiatives and events.

3. **Expand Access**: Ensure information about our programs and resources is easily accessible to a diverse audience, including individuals from underrepresented communities and rural areas.

4. **Facilitate Support**: Streamline donation processes and volunteer opportunities, enabling us to secure resources to continue breaking down barriers for aspiring filmmakers.

By aligning the website’s design with our mission, we can amplify our impact and effectively reach those who can benefit from and contribute to our initiatives.

We have already considered and are prepared to brief you about our current website platform, budget restrictions for the build, our branding collaterals and norms, and information about our stakeholder groups and target audiences. We've also compiled some photos and have developed some language that we will share with you, as well as samples of sites we like.
