Staffing Resource Intake Process Development
We are seeking a volunteer to help us develop a streamlined resource intake process to improve efficiency and ensure clarity when identifying the need for additional staff or external contractors. The goal is to create a system that enables proactive decision-making and reduces delays in addressing team needs.
Framework Development:
Help create a structured framework that guides team leaders through critical questions:
What tasks or deliverables need support?
Can internal staff assist before hiring externally?
Is there a budget allocated for external resources?
Include steps to align resource planning with organizational priorities.
Intake Form Design:
Collaborate with us to design a resource intake form that captures key details such as workload, task-specific needs, team capacity, and budget considerations.
Ensure the form is user-friendly and adaptable for different teams and scenarios.
This project will directly support our organization's mission by enabling us to allocate resources more strategically and efficiently, ensuring that our teams have the support they need to deliver impactful work. A well-defined process for resource intake positions us to respond quickly and efficiently to new opportunities, allowing us to scale our programs and increase our impact.
Our team will provide the Taproot volunteer with a detailed overview of our current resource intake challenges, goals, and desired outcomes and assign a primary point of contact who will work closely with the volunteer to answer questions, provide context, and facilitate progress. During the volunteering period, we will use shared tools (GSuite, Slack, Zoom) to streamline communication, track deliverables, and document progress.
