Website UX/UI Audit And Recommendations
We're seeking a website expert to give us feedback on our current website’s layout, user-friendliness, mobile readiness, content, and general look and feel.
Our priorities:
1. SEO -reduce use of pdfs and create webpages
2. Be ADA compliant- visually impaired using plug-ins.
3. Suggestions and style guides to create a more contemporary site that reflects what we do and who we serve
4. Navigation strategy- more easeful and intuitive
5. Best ways to integrate with our newsletter & social media
6. Pop-ups to direct website traffic to our programs and events
We would love your recommendations for improvements to help us maximize our site to support our nonprofit goals. We use Word Press.
We'll start with a briefing session where Bridges Graduate School will share our goals and tell you about our target audiences and what we hope to achieve through our website. We'll collaborate to define our next steps and set a timeline. Next time we meet, you'll provide us with some of your initial insights and high-level feedback. We'll have additional feedback for you as well. When your analysis is complete, you'll deliver a short presentation to our team with your recommendations and give us a document of your recommended tactics and updates.
Our ideal volunteer can spend fifteen to twenty hours over four to five weeks reviewing our website. They have experience in web design and marketing.
This project will NOT include:
-Website design
-Website development/coding
-Development of a content marketing strategy
We love what we do and we want the world to know it.
Your passion for effective communications and expertise is critical for Bridges Graduate School to be able to share our work and research in developing leaders, advocates, and scholars in the field of gifted cognitive diversity.
We are looking for a partner... a co-conspirator to help us reach professionals who share our passion. We know educators, therapists, and resource specialists can have a profound impact on the lives of neuro-diverse learners. But we need your help to guide them to our site.
That said, your work will have a direct impact on neuro-diverse school-age learners for years to come. Students with learning differences often feel they are defined by their deficits not their talents and strengths.
In order to achieve our goal of equity in education we need to better share our story and expand our reach. We are looking for a partner who can help optimize our sites and create a dynamic and engaging site.
We hope that's you!
We are so excited to be in our 5th year as a graduate school that forwards neuro-diversity in education. As academics, we thrive in strength-based collaborative projects. We can provide you with details about our target audiences and our organization's goals, and how we measure success as well as our reach. We will provide access to the back end of our website and Google Analytics. We also have a dedicated member of our team who will be responsible for supporting you throughout the project.
