Board Reporting Dashboard

As a very small but impactful organization we have been challenged with providing an effective, consistent, accessible, secure Board communication structure or platform. Our goal is to set up a dashboard that is secure and easily accessible from our website that all Board members can access easily and that is low maintenance to update regularly. As a nonprofit this would also need to be something that is no cost.

Launched in 2021, the Board of NJ Angels began as a "working" Board doing the day to day tasks of the organization and programs. As we have grown, and have hired and ED, Program Director and case managers, we are now in the process of transitioning our Board to the more traditional roles of ambassadorship, fundraising, networking etc. that will ensure the sustainability of the programs long term. In order to assist our existing board members in this transition, as well as to attract and retain new impactful board members, we must level up our communication, access to needed information and offering of skill building resources to our Board members. As a fully virtual organization with no central office space, clear, accurate, meaningful communication is essential.

We know the content that we want the dashboard to have initially, but we are challenged in terms of the IT options that could make this a reality.
