Wix Website Design Improvements

We seek a web designer/developer to review our current nonprofit website and then recommend improvements for maximum impact. Once the improvements have been reviewed with the Board, the web designer/developer will execute the improvements. We are currently using the Wix platform.

The volunteer should assess and incorporate our goals and needs and consider our key audiences. The project's deliverable is a recommendation of architecture and design concepts that can be executed by a web developer volunteer to create our new site.

Our work will take place over multiple meetings in six to nine weeks. We have some flexibility on timing. In our first meeting, the volunteer should interview us about our desired outcome. Next, the volunteer will audit our current site to create a draft of site architecture and design options including wireframes, site structure, and other visual elements. Then, they'll synthesize the information into a requirements briefing.

In today's society, having effective branding outlets, like websites and social media, is paramount. Our nonprofit will celebrate three years of operation in May, and we're looking to continue elevating our brand. To date, we've committed $60,000 in funding to help propel students of color into higher education. With an elevated website, we're confident we'll continue to attract more donors and subsequently impact more students.

We have already thought about and are prepared to brief you about our current website platform, our branding collaterals and norms, and information about our stakeholder groups and target audiences. We've also compiled some photos and have some language developed that we will share with you. The primary contact is flexible with communications and built the current website.
