PR Strategy For National High School Tour
We are seeking the support of a skilled Public Relations (PR) professional to help us amplify the impact of The Mitzvah Project’s national high school tour. This initiative combines theater, history, and discussion to help students explore the relevance of the Holocaust in today’s world.
The volunteer will help us:
Develop and execute a media outreach strategy aimed at securing national and regional press coverage.
Craft compelling press releases and media pitches that highlight the significance of our program.
Identify opportunities for interviews, op-eds, and media placements to raise awareness of our work.
Position our founder, Roger Grunwald, as a thought leader in Holocaust education and contemporary social justice issues.
We anticipate the volunteer will contribute 2-5 hours per week over a set period, depending on availability and project milestones.
The Mitzvah Project is dedicated to educating high school students about the Holocaust, the dangers of prejudice, and the rise of contemporary antisemitism, white supremacy, and “othering.” By improving our media presence and outreach strategy, this project will:
Help us reach more educators, students, and communities across the country.
Foster deeper conversations about historical awareness and its relevance in today’s socio-political landscape.
Position our founder, Roger Grunwald, as a leading voice in the fight against hate and prejudice, amplifying the program’s national influence.
With your help, we can expand the reach of our message and inspire the next generation to stand against hatred and injustice. Your skills will directly contribute to building a more informed, compassionate, and equitable society.
We are prepared to fully support the volunteer’s efforts by providing:
Clear objectives and timelines tied to the national tour schedule.
Access to all relevant materials, including past press coverage, promotional content, and media assets (photos, videos, bios).
A dedicated point of contact (myself, as Director of Strategy and Operations) to ensure smooth communication and timely feedback.
Full internal buy-in from our founder, board, and leadership team, ensuring alignment on all PR initiatives.
The strategies developed through this project will be immediately implemented by our team and integrated into our ongoing communications and outreach efforts, ensuring the volunteer’s work has a lasting impact beyond the duration of the engagement.
