The Blanche Fischer Foundation (BFF) is seeking a volunteer to optimize its Weebly website. The goal is to enhance user experience, optimize accessibility, improve SEO performance, and integrate necessary functionalities to support engagement with individuals with permanent physical disabilities, donors, and nonprofit partners.

Our mission is to support Oregonians with permanent physical disabilities by providing financial assistance that enhances independence, quality of life, and community participation. This project is a crucial step in expanding our ability to serve more individuals, engage donors, and strengthen our impact.

Empowering More Grant Seekers – A well-structured, accessible website ensures that more individuals with disabilities can easily apply for grants, removing barriers to essential funding.

Strengthening Donor Engagement – By optimizing our website’s donation portal, storytelling, and visibility, we will inspire greater philanthropic support, allowing us to expand our grantmaking capacity.

Expanding Awareness & Outreach – A clear, well-designed site makes it easier for potential partners, nonprofits, and supporters to connect with BFF, strengthening collaborations that enhance our impact across Oregon.

Ensuring Long-Term Sustainability – By implementing SEO, accessibility enhancements, and best practices, this project will help establish a stronger digital presence, ensuring consistent funding growth and broader community reach.

Through this project, volunteers will play a direct role in helping Oregonians with disabilities access life-changing support. Your expertise will create a lasting impact by making BFF’s resources more accessible, increasing donor contributions, and strengthening the foundation’s ability to serve for years to come.

Join us in making a difference—your skills will help us transform lives!

The Blanche Fischer Foundation staff and board of directors are fully committed to making this project a success. We have taken several steps to ensure that our volunteer partner has the clarity, resources, and support needed to achieve meaningful impact.

Commitment to the Project – Our leadership team, including the Executive Director and key stakeholders, fully supports this project.

Clear Project Scope & Defined Goals – We have developed a detailed scoping document outlining website goals, accessibility improvements, SEO strategies, and donor engagement needs, ensuring alignment and clear expectations from day one.

Readiness to Gather Key Materials – We are prepared to collect website analytics, accessibility assessments, and user feedback as needed to support data-driven improvements and ensure our site is fully optimized for both donors and grant seekers.

Implementation Plan for Long-Term Use – Once updates are complete, BFF staff will integrate the improvements into daily operations and maintain the site using a best practices guide provided by the volunteer.

Collaborative & Engaged Team – We are responsive, flexible, and eager to work alongside a skilled volunteer. We value expertise and are committed to making this a smooth and successful experience.

With a strong plan in place and a readiness to gather key resources, we are excited to take this important step in optimizing BFF’s website for long-term impact!
