We are seeking a volunteer graphic designer for our community hair garden project. We're creating an educational and sustainable garden focused on hair health and regrowth, utilizing hair clippings from our "Trims for Trich" program. We need a talented graphic designer to collaborate on developing a visual concept that incorporates site features (sun/shade, trees), plant choices (including growth-themed options), hardscapes, and the sustainable use of hair as mulch. Let's create something inspiring together!

Our "Hair Garden" project directly supports the Trichotillomania (TRICH) community by creating a visually engaging public space that aims to raise awareness, promote hair regrowth, and restore confidence. We envision this garden as a tangible demonstration of our commitment to TRICH support, achieved through innovative design incorporating educational elements on sustainable practices and community engagement. We are seeking a skilled volunteer to help us bring this vision to life, creating a space that will visually empower individuals and showcase the possibility of regrowth and restoration through compassion.

Leveraging our 25+ years of expertise as a trusted hair loss resource within the community, we are excited to launch our "Hair Garden" project. This initiative aims to create an engaging and educational outdoor space to further our impact beyond our licensed salon's private clientele. We have already invested significant internal resources in site assessment and planning, and we are now seeking a creative volunteer to develop the visual design concept for this unique garden. The volunteer's contributions will be recognized with a permanent donor feature. We are committed to providing a rewarding experience and creating a lasting positive impact on our community's understanding of sustainable practices.

Organization Mission

An estimated 1-2% of the global population is affected by a hair-pulling disorder known as Trichotillomania, and through working with these individuals since 2005, I've witnessed firsthand the shame and isolation they face. HelpMe2Stop, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, trains beauty professionals to create supportive environments, helping individuals manage their hair pulling and naturally regrow their hair—often after years of struggle—without drugs or long-term therapy, solutions many healthcare professionals are still searching for. Witness these inspiring transformations - like this photo of hope and resilience and support our inaugural Trichotillomania Awareness Training program.
