Tax Advice to Help Maximize Food Donation Incentives

We’re seeking a knowledgeable CPA or tax advisor to help us build a resource library for our food donation partners. The goal is to clearly explain the federal and state tax incentives available for donating surplus food — and help our partners maximize their returns. We and seeking someone familiar with IRS tax code 170(e)(3), Pennsylvania tax law, and ideally open to researching multi-state incentives as we expand.

This project will help us unlock more food donations and fight food insecurity at scale! Tax incentives are a driving force behind food businesses donating food, and the more we can provide guidance on how to maximize those, the more donations we can unlock, and the more people have access to fresh and healthy food.

My team is eager to learn and help along the way, we are just not super knowledgeable in this particular field.
