We’re looking to create a clean, organized, and sustainable financial system that helps our team make smarter decisions in real time. With the help of a skilled volunteer, we want to:

Organize and categorize recurring expenses
Set up a clear system to track cash flow across multiple funding sources
Review and structure our debt obligations
Create a simple, proactive process for reviewing funds before spending
Establish practical financial policies and boundaries
The goal is to walk away with a system we can confidently maintain going forward — one that brings clarity, prevents surprises, and supports our growth.

Friendship Circle creates inclusive communities for children and young adults with disabilities — and the families who love them. Behind every program we run is a financial decision.

By helping us build a clear, sustainable financial system, this project ensures we can keep saying “yes” to the people who count on us. Your work will directly support more meaningful programs, smarter use of resources, and long-term impact for hundreds of families.

We’re fully committed to this project and have the internal buy-in needed to implement changes. Our team has already identified key financial challenges and areas for improvement, and we’ve gathered relevant records and documentation to support this work.

The volunteer will work directly with leadership and have clear, consistent communication. We’re ready to act on their insights — this project will directly shape how we manage our finances moving forward.

Organization Mission

The Friendship Circle exists to bring happiness and companionship to children and young adults with special needs by celebrating their individuality, as well as bringing energy, support, and peace of mind to their families. To do this, we focus on developing the values of altruism, compassion, and acceptance in our teen volunteers as we heighten community awareness and sensitivity and encourage a sense of responsibility and involvement.
