PYT Score (Credit Score for Students) – Implementation Specialist Project

We are seeking a skilled volunteer to help us build and implement the PYT Score—a first-of-its-kind credit score system for students at Pay Your Tuition Foundation (PYT). This score will track and reward financial behaviors like on-time payments, enrollment milestones, and academic achievements. Specifically, we need a volunteer to:

-Design and integrate the scoring system within either Salesforce or Microsoft Power Apps (Dataverse), depending on final platform selection.
-Map out field connections and data flows from our website forms and Super App into the CRM.
-Create a lightweight, working version that can automatically calculate and update scores as students engage with our platform.
-Document the scoring process and logic for future scaling and refinements.

We are looking for someone who can help turn our clear, documented vision into a simple, functional MVP (minimum viable product) over the course of a few weeks.

PYT is committed to expanding educational and financial opportunities for underserved students. By building the PYT Score, we will give students a measurable way to build credit and financial credibility—even before they graduate. This project will directly:

-Expand economic mobility by helping students strengthen their financial profiles while earning their degrees.
-Support college retention and success by rewarding responsible behaviors like on-time payments and course completions.
-Strengthen long-term financial inclusion by helping students access credit, loans, and job opportunities after graduation.

Volunteers working on this project will help thousands of students nationwide build a foundation for lifelong success, making a tangible, lasting impact on education, financial equity, and economic opportunity.

We have already taken several steps to ensure this project is well-prepared and positioned for success:
-Internal buy-in is complete: Our leadership team is fully aligned and committed to integrating the PYT Score into our infrastructure.
-Clear documentation ready: We have detailed documentation outlining the desired scoring model, input fields, and business logic.
-Technical platforms are prepared: Salesforce CRM is active and ready, and Microsoft Power Apps access is in place.
-Dedicated point of contact: Our operations Fellow will serve as the direct liaison, ensuring rapid answers and smooth communication.
-Immediate implementation plan: As soon as the MVP is ready, it will be incorporated into our live operations for tracking student success metrics and program outcomes.
