Brand Style Guide Development
We need a style guide that includes specific colors, fonts, and other graphic design elements in formats we can use in print and digital. We're looking for a volunteer who's excited about our mission and has experience with brand and voice. This is a highly visible project that will impact us for a long time! This style guide may also include the following:
-Rules and guidelines for staff and board members to maintain brand consistency
-Tone and voice guidelines and examples
-Formatting examples
-Grammar, spelling, and punctuation preferences
-Instructions for utilizing the brand style guide based on communications channel or stakeholder
-The value of a consistent brand and voice
At the International Girls Academy, our brand is more than just a logo or a color palette—it’s a promise. A promise to uplift, empower, and invest in the next generation of global female leaders. To fulfill that promise, we need a strong, consistent brand that reflects the power, passion, and purpose of our mission—and that’s where you come in.
As a volunteer supporting our brand development, you will help us bring clarity, cohesion, and confidence to how we present ourselves to the world. Whether we’re speaking to donors, partners, mentors, or the girls we serve, our brand should communicate who we are, what we stand for, and why our work matters.
Your expertise will directly help us:
Create or refine a brand identity that reflects our values of empowerment, equity, and education,
Develop clear visual and messaging guidelines that unify our communications across platforms,
Strengthen how we tell our story—visually and verbally—to engage hearts and minds,
Build credibility and trust with new audiences and funders,
Inspire pride and connection among the girls, mentors, and communities we serve.
This project is critical as we expand our programs and deepen our impact globally. A strong, consistent brand allows us to stand out, speak with purpose, and grow a movement that champions the potential of every girl, everywhere.
Your talent will help us shine a brighter light on their stories—and give more people a reason to stand with them. Together, we’ll build a brand that doesn’t just look good—but does good.
We'll share our branding goals and our target audiences. Our team will also come prepared with examples of brands we like. We'll share some of our past marketing materials. During the interview process, we'll ask to see your portfolio and examples of your graphic designs.
