We seek a web developer to help in the redesign of our current website. The main changes we wish to see are with the donation page which is clunky at the moment. We would love to work together to make the site more concise and focus on our main messages while also having call to actions for donations visible across the entire site. In addition to this we currently have a number of broken links.

We seek a volunteer who will work with our comms/web team who have drafted the changes we require to improve the success of our web presence. The site is fully coded in and we lack the additional development skills to achieve a more professional page.

We can work around your availability and discuss your thoughts about the current website we have in place at our first meeting (https://www.africaaccesswater.org/).

By volunteering with us in this project you will drive significant change to the communities who need it most. Each $7 we raise through the site will provide one person in Africa with clean drinking water. Each small change you can make to our website will undoubtedly improve the lives of those in our communities and drive forward our projects across further communities.

We have already thought about and are prepared to brief you about our current website platform, changes needed, key messages to be portrayed, and target audiences. We've also compiled some photos and have some language developed that we will share with you and samples of sites we like.

Organization Mission

Africa Access Water (AfAW) exists to advance equity, sustainability, and resilience in rural Africa by delivering solar-powered water infrastructure that supports both clean drinking water and productive agriculture. We are committed to empowering women, youth, and marginalized communities through inclusive, community-led solutions that foster climate-smart practices, economic independence, and long-term social impact. Guided by innovation, integrity, and local partnerships, we work to ensure that access to water becomes a foundation for dignity, opportunity, and lasting change.
