I am writing on behalf of the Veteran Project Manager Mentor Alliance (VPMMA) to request a skilled volunteer to assist us in developing a comprehensive 12-month LinkedIn ad content strategy and calendar. VPMMA aims to launch a robust 12-month LinkedIn advertising campaign to attract:
Volunteers: Individuals interested in mentorship roles, event planning, fundraising, marketing, administrative support, and outreach coordination are specifically sought. Our volunteers, often referred to as staff or staff volunteers due to their close involvement, are indispensable to our mission.
Military Community Members: Service members, veterans, and military spouses who can benefit from our professional development programs, career transition support, and supportive community networks.
Supporters, Donors, and Partnerships: Individuals and organizations that align with our mission contribute to our financial sustainability and expand our reach. This is crucial as we strive to diversify our financial portfolio and boost revenue.
The current volunteer landscape presents challenges, including volunteer recruitment and retention. While social media is a frequently used recruitment tactic (83.3%), many organizations do not fully leverage digital marketing strategies, such as SEO or automated drip email sequences. This project will enable us to communicate our value proposition more effectively and attract the talent and resources needed to meet our ambitious 2024-2025 strategic goals, which include streamlining operations, expanding our global influence, and enhancing program offerings.

Specific Task(s) for the Volunteer:
We are seeking a volunteer with expertise in digital marketing and content creation, particularly for LinkedIn. The core tasks for this project include:
Develop a 12-Month LinkedIn Ad Content Calendar: Create a comprehensive content calendar that details themes, topics, and specific advertising copy ideas for each month, aligning with VPMMA's programs, services, and volunteer needs. This should include strategies to promote our various mentorship options (one-on-one, group, reverse, diversity, peer) and specialized training programs.
Draft Engaging Ad Copy and Visual Concepts: Create compelling ad copy for various campaign phases, designed to attract potential volunteers, military community members, and supporters or partners. This involves suggesting types of visuals or multimedia that would resonate with the LinkedIn audience.
Propose Audience Targeting Strategies: Provide recommendations for LinkedIn audience targeting based on VPMMA's mission and desired outcomes, such as veterans, project managers, HR professionals, and corporate responsibility leaders.
Outline Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Tracking Methods: Suggest relevant metrics to assess the effectiveness of our LinkedIn ads in achieving recruitment, program enrollment, and donor engagement goals. This aligns with our need to evaluate impact and continuously refine our strategies.

This project will require approximately 2 to 5 hours per week for 8 to 12 weeks, depending on the volunteer's availability and the iterative nature of content development. The impact of this volunteer's contribution will be immense:
