Corporate Partnership Program Development

We are seeking a skilled volunteer to help us design a strategic and mission-aligned Corporate Partnership Program for It's Your Birthday, Inc. (IYBI). This project will involve:
> Defining partnership tiers or levels with corresponding benefits
>Identifying corporate engagement strategies, including employee volunteering, sponsorships, and in-kind donations
>Creating a compelling partner-facing program overview or pitch deck
>Providing guidance on tracking and measuring partner impact and engagement
>Advising on sustainable implementation practices to manage and grow the program long-term

We are open to virtual meetings and have a flexible, responsive team.

It’s Your Birthday, Inc. creates a fun and memorable birthday experience for children in homeless and domestic violence shelters. A Corporate Partnership Program will allow us to build sustainable funding streams and deepen community ties, ensuring we can serve more children across our 29 partner shelters and expand nationally. This project directly fuels our ability to give kids in shelters a reason to smile and moms a moment of relief—and will help us turn one-time sponsors into long-term mission champions. Volunteers will be helping us bring hope and celebration to hundreds of children each year.

My team and I have prepared for this project by identifying our current partnership gaps and documenting our existing shelter and donor relationships. We’ve also developed a draft version of the Corporate Partnership Program, which includes initial ideas for tiers, engagement strategies, and partnership benefits. Our board leadership is aligned and supportive, and this program is a top priority in our upcoming fundraising strategy. Once finalized, the program will be implemented with support from our Board President.
