Conduct Financial Analysis

Help us strengthen our financial management practices! We are looking for a volunteer finance professional to assess our current financial situation through a financial review, sales tax strategy, and risk factors.

Based on your assessment of our organization's financial status, this project could also include conducting a financial reforecasting exercise. We'd also benefit from a volunteer's recommendations for handling sales tax as a nonprofit, creating a ‘rainy day fund,’ best practices for achieving a healthy annual surplus, or creating financial scenarios for periods of increased community need.

We predict that this finance project will take from 36-48 hours to complete. We're hoping that our pro bono partner will share three to five hours of their time each week with our team.

Your expertise will directly empower us to continue delivering life-saving mental health support to new and expecting parents across Texas.

By helping us strengthen our financial foundation and navigate compliance issues like sales tax, you'll enable us to confidently expand our offerings, like trauma-informed training courses, educational materials, and supportive products, without risking legal or financial setbacks.

Your impact will echo through the families we serve. When our operations run smoothly, more parents can access the help they desperately need, often at little to no cost to them. Your time and knowledge will quite literally help change lives.

To prepare for this project, we have gathered our budgeting information and will share access to our financial management tools. We plan to implement the recommendations of this project.
