Assist with Board Member Recruitment Process

We are looking for a volunteer with recruitment experience to assist with the process of recruiting new members to our nonprofit's board of directors. Project deliverables will include: board member announcement that shows we are seeking board members for our new organization, conducting interviews with identified candidates, and following up with applicants.

Filling these board seats will better position this organization for success in the areas of funding and growth and development. It will also give us a better look on paper when we apply for sponsorships, donations and/or government contracts.

I have prepared for this project by doing research on what each board position will entail, what the bylaws are, and what questions to ask to determine if a person is a good fit for the position or not.
