Craft a Revenue Generation Strategy

We are seeking support in developing our revenue generation strategy.

We'd like to craft a business development/fundraising/revenue generation strategy for our nonprofit. We can imagine that this project will include brainstorming revenue-generating activities with our team and board, exploring the place of different income streams (such as individual giving, philanthropic support, earned income, etc.), then taking those ideas and mapping out a high-level revenue strategy for the year with tactics for those agreed-upon focus areas.

At the end of this engagement, we would like to develop a business planning brief that details:

-Our ideal funding streams
-Examples of funding prospects and/or user personas for each funding stream
-Initial investment and/or start-up costs associated with pursuing said funding streams
-Connection between the revenue streams and our organization's strategic goals

We are at a fresh moment in the history of our organization. Your help will enable us grow and meet the demand for our services.

We have completed a year-long strategic planning process that has led us to focus our work on the needs of incarcerated people and returning citizens. We already have a strategy for funding that has worked at a modest level. We are poised, however, for growth.
