My goal for this Taproot Project is to create a set of 3–4 original graphic designs for our upcoming 250 & Beyond program. These designs will be featured on branded merchandise (t-shirts, hats, mugs, etc.) through the Bonfire platform, which we use to produce and distribute items. We’re looking for bold, engaging visuals that reflect the themes of service, democracy, and community impact as we prepare to launch this national initiative.
Through working with our organization on this project, the volunteer will support our mission by helping us engage communities nationwide in the lead-up to the nation’s 250th anniversary. The 250 & Beyond program will use branded merchandise to raise awareness, strengthen supporter identity, and generate momentum for programming. By contributing their design skills, the volunteer will directly advance our ability to celebrate service as a core American value and inspire participation in this milestone project.
We have brand guidelines (logos, colors, and fonts) ready to share, along with examples of styles we admire to give the volunteer a clear creative direction. We’ve also allocated staff capacity to provide timely feedback and will integrate the final designs directly into our 250 & Beyond campaign, ensuring the volunteer’s work has immediate and visible impact.
