How could our nonprofit use technology to build a stronger infrastructure? We need your help answering that question!

We're looking for someone to evaluate and advise us about our technology tools. Our team will share a detailed description of our existing systems and the tools we use for email, file sharing, program management, web hosting, web design, and customer relationship management (CRM). After assessing our basic needs, you'll make high-level recommendations to our team about ways to improve some of our basic processes or identify tools we can grow into as we mature. You'll need to keep our team and budget size in mind when considering tech solutions.
Our mission crucially runs on our ability to optimize and make our infrastructure as secure and as good as we can. We are in a crucial stage where we are picking up the pieces from our previous era of decentralized operation and trying to build a stronger, more cohesive foundation for our organization. By working with us to provide technical recommendations, you will be providing us with valuable insights we currently do not have the perspective to give ourselves. While we know how to build software, the larger problems of scale, organization, and standardization are ones we are inexperienced with and would love your assistance with.
We're incredibly technically competent as a software focused nonprofit organization so we are confident we will be able to understand and implement your advice smoothly. Our key deficiency is in our inexperience with systems of this scale and we hop that you will be able to help us. You will have the entire support and apt attention of our relevant leaders and teams.

Organization Mission

Hack4Impact mobilizes software engineering and computer science to address the unique technical challenges facing nonprofit organizations. We build bridges between technology expertise and community needs, creating solutions that amplify our partners' impact. Our diverse community of students and chapters partner with nonprofits in their local communities to address the gaps in technology that would better help the nonprofit achieve their mission or expand their reach. Our teams provide technical education to our students, real world experience, and connects them to meaningful work that sustains. We recognize that technology is never neutral, it reflects the values and priorities of those who create it. As developers with specialized knowledge, Hack4Impact champions responsibility when working with communities. Success requires cultural humility, deep listening, and a commitment to building sustainable solutions alongside our partners rather than for them.
