We are looking for a skilled volunteer to help us develop and launch a short-term social media strategy that strengthens NAEHD’s online presence and alignment with our mission to end health disparities and advance health equity.

The volunteer will help our team build a strong foundation for future engagement by creating key templates, processes, and examples we can continue using after the project ends.

Project deliverables may include:
• A 4- to 6-week content calendar with sample posts and recommended posting cadence
• A set of Canva templates aligned with NAEHD’s branding (colors, fonts, and logo)
• Messaging guidelines and 3–5 sample campaign ideas (e.g., board spotlights, webinar recaps, recruitment features)
• Brief recommendations for scheduling and engagement tracking

Our team will use the materials and guidance developed through this project to manage our channels independently and maintain a consistent, equity-centered voice online.
NAEHD exists to end health disparities and advance health equity through research, education, and advocacy. Social media is one of our most important tools for reaching new audiences, sharing timely updates, and building momentum around our work. This project will help us create consistent, engaging content that reflects our mission and values, while expanding our visibility across platforms. Volunteers supporting this effort will directly strengthen our outreach, recruitment, and public engagement—making it easier for patients, professionals, and partners to connect with our movement and take action.
I’ve outlined the scope, tone, and branding for our social media presence, including our primary colors (#e69e32 and black) and preferred font (Merriweather). Captions should reflect our voice using clear, professional, and equity-centered language. The volunteer will have access to our Canva Pro account, which includes prior posts, logos, color scheme, and templates. I’ll provide sample content and be the main point of contact, offering direct feedback and fast turnaround. The volunteer will have creative freedom within a defined framework, and their work will be implemented directly across our platforms to support outreach, recruitment, and visibility.
