We want to create a clear, actionable roadmap for improving the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) of TexasArchive.org to dramatically increase the public discoverability and access of our unique collection of Texas's film and video heritage.

The final deliverable will be a comprehensive SEO Audit and Strategy Report that empowers our small team to execute high-impact, low-cost recommendations, directly supporting our mission to preserve and make accessible Texas history.
This SEO project directly and profoundly supports TAMI's mission to discover, preserve, make accessible, and educate the public about Texas' film heritage. As an online-only archive with no physical reading room, TexasArchive.org is our sole public interface, making its discoverability paramount to our existence. By providing us with an actionable SEO strategy, the volunteer will help us dramatically increase the amount of high-quality, targeted traffic, improving our ability to connect students, teachers, and researchers with the specific historical video footage they seek. This increased, targeted public access is the ultimate fulfillment of our mission's core promise, strengthening our case for future grants and ensuring that Texas history is not lost, but instead found and utilized by the community.
We are committed to making this a smooth, efficient, and successful pro bono partnership, ensuring the volunteer's time is maximized for strategic impact. This is a top priority project for TAMI leadership, and the Managing Director is fully committed to this work, serving as the dedicated, single point of contact for the volunteer to ensure alignment and quick decision-making. We have proactively gathered all materials and are ready to share immediate access to necessary data sources, including Google Analytics and Google Search Console for texasarchive.org..

The project is set up to deliver strategy, and we are prepared to execute immediately upon completion. The Managing Director will take the technical recommendations to our web developer to enact all necessary infrastructure and site health fixes. Furthermore, the content and keyword strategy recommendations will be used to update our internal content description standards. This is a critical step that ensures the strategy will guide how every future film and educational resource is cataloged and described, providing a long-term impact on our SEO health.
