We are seeking a skilled WordPress developer to help us optimize and enhance our registration forms so we can better serve our community. Our site currently use Gravity Forms (hosted on Kinsta) along with Zapier, Stripe, Mailchimp, and Google Sheets. We’re open to exploring other solutions if recommended, though we’d like to keep costs and maintenance needs low.

Our nonprofit runs many programs throughout the year, and we’re recently encountered technical challenges with new registration launches. A seamless registration process is critical to delivering our life-changing programs and empower young people who stutter.

The project will involve:
-Auditing our current Gravity Forms setup to identify and resolve issues
-Improving integrations between Gravity Forms, Zapier, Stripe, Mailchimp, and Google Sheets
-Streamlining user experience and backend functionality
-Providing basic training for 2-3 staff members so our team can confidently create and troubleshoot future registration forms

The ideal volunteer has experience with WordPress, Gravity Forms, Zapier, Stripe, and Kinsta, and enjoys teaching others in a collaborative, supportive way.

Your expertise will directly help a small nonprofit increase efficiency and expand our impact, allowing us to spend less time fixing forms and more time supporting kids who stutter and their families.
Are you a WordPress developer who wants to use your skills for good? Join us in empowering young people who stutter by helping us improve the registration process for our life-changing programs.

Each year, our nonprofit connects hundreds of children, teens, and families to a supportive community through workshops, conferences, and virtual groups. But technical challenges in our registration system can make it harder for families to access these opportunities. Your expertise will directly remove those barriers, ensuring that every child who stutters can easily register, participate, and find belonging.

This project is a change to make a tangible impact while collaborating with a passionate, mission-driven team. Together, we can make the user experience as seamless and welcoming as the programs themselves.
We’ve laid a strong foundation to ensure this project’s success. Our team has:
-Reviewed our current Gravity Forms templates and outlined specific concerns and goals
-Gathered user feedback and documented desired improvements
-Secured access to all relevant platforms (Wordpress, Kinsta, Stripe, Zapier, Mailchimp, etc.)
-Compiled our branding guide, logos, and prior registration forms to ensure consistency in design and language

I’ll be the main point of contact and am prepared to dedicate time each week to support the volunteer by providing context, answering questions, and implementing recommendations. We’re flexible, open to expert input, and eager to learn throughout the process.

Once the project is complete, we’ll test and launch the new registration forms, ensuring a smooth user experience. These improvements will make it easier for families to sign up for our programs, ultimately helping hundreds of children who stutter access life-changing support and community.
