SDI helps citizens around the world to transform their conflictual or destructive relationships and to implement sustainable change processes. Sustained Dialogue develops leaders able to transform differences into the strong relationships essential to effective decision-making, democratic governance, and peace. Sustained Dialogue, a five-stage public peace process founded by Dr. Harold Saunders (former US diplomat and key drafter of the Camp David Peace Accords), was adapted by Princeton students in 1999, and by alumni in workplaces in 2008. Now on over 60 campuses with thousands of students and alumni, SDI builds the capacity of students, administrators, and communities to create inclusive environments through a proven dialogue-to-action process. SD has been used in major international conflicts, in communities for reconciliation and economic development, on campuses, in corporate-community conflicts, and within organizations.
