What are the best places to search for grant funding and are their organizations/foundations that are more inclined to provide funding to smaller groups with less grant history?

Nonprofit Overview
To empower and encourage women and girls of color to believe that they have a voice and that what they have to say and how they feel matters. We provide a variety of services from mentoring to enrichment workshops to enhance communication skills, build self-confidence, and level the playing field so they have the tools they need to succeed in school and in the workplace. We also provide free journals and encourage them to use the journal as a tool to organize their thoughts and as a safe space to write about how they feel in a world that doesn't always value the thoughts and feelings of women and girls and particularly women and girls of color.
