Pickup Buddi connects parents that need help with afterschool pickup with high school and college students in their neighborhoods. We have a screening process for employees, and contracts parents and students sign. I'm currently working on drafting an employee handbook and would love to start working on additional compliance documents and systems to organize my operations and employees. I'd love feedback on the kinds of rules I should implement, compliance to focus on, and organization strategies that might help me as I move forward.

Pickup Buddi is a childcare service designed to support busy parents in New York City by ensuring safe and reliable afterschool pickup and care for their children. Our Buddis are highschool and college students that are responsible for picking up kids from school and walking them home/or to extracurricular activities. Our Buddis are carefully screened and escort children home from school, supervise them during afterschool activities, and assist with homework. We offer flexible scheduling options to accommodate both parents and students. Parents work long hours and aren't able to find caregivers for the 1-2 hours they need afterschool. Pickup Buddi is their solution.
