Revenue Generation & Diversification

The Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation is facing funding challenges and cash flow issues. Currently, 80% of our revenue comes from a single annual fundraising initiative, the “Give Burns the Boot” campaign, which runs from May through December. We’re considering how best to maximize our limited resources through a strategic hire. Specifically, we’re deciding between bringing on a part-time fund development professional to create and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy, or a part-time event coordinator to manage and expand our existing third-party fundraising activities. We’re seeking expert advice on which role would provide the greatest return on investment and long-term sustainability.
