Advice on Onboarding Staff in Compliance with CA Employment Law
My co-founder and I started our nonprofit in February of 2025 and we foresee significant growth opportunity if we add employees for part time work. We have strong systems in place using Gusto and managing ourselves as employees, as approved by the board, but we are nervous about brining others on without a good onboarding process that abides by CA legal requirements. Any advice is very appreciated!
