In 2018, Taproot partnered with Johnson & Johnson to pilot Talent for Healthy Communities, a skills-based volunteering program that connects J&J employees with community-based partner organizations working to advance health equity.
The program began by supporting communities near J&J’s global headquarters in New Jersey and, in its second year, expanded across North America. Now seven years in, Talent for Healthy Communities has engaged partners in 23 countries across 6 continents in this impactful and culturally relevant program.
We are proud to release this new report, created by Taproot in partnership with Johnson & Johnson. “Impact at Scale: A Blueprint for Global Skills-Based Volunteering” is a framework and guide for other multinational companies looking to broaden their volunteerism efforts. It includes best practices and key takeaways we’ve uncovered, as well as profiles of participants and partnerships in China, Australia, and Colombia. We hope that our learnings will inspire other companies to leverage the skills of their workforce to drive meaningful change for organizations on the ground across the globe.
