Special Education Equity Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit in California that was created to assist educators in attending professional growth and best practices networking events to better serve their students. We have found that special education teachers, in particular, are often denied the funding to attend conventions and conferences. This is mainly due to a lack of funding and the difficulty of replacing a teacher with a substitute teacher due to the high demands of the class/student needs.

We need a logo for SEEF that is modern and eye-catching and can be used on the website, business cards, letterheads, banners, and other marketing paraphernalia. We recognize that, as teachers who are volunteering our time and energy to this project, we don't possess the talents needed to create this artwork. We are anxious to work with creative people and eager for ideas!

Creating a logo is our number one priority at this time, as we cannot begin our campaigning for board members and grants until we have the logo for letterhead, website, business cards, etc.

We are an executive board of five that meets every four weeks on a Zoom call. We communicate in between as needed. We are eager to work alongside the talent you will provide.

Special Education Equity Foundation (SEEF) has been created out of a need for financial support of those teaching studensts with special needs to attend professional development and best practices conferences, conventions and workshops. It seems that most funding is going to advanced placement students, Internatuonal Baccalaureate students and administrative retreats. We want to bring the gap by awarding scholarships for those who desire to learn best practices for all students with the emphasis on those with special needs.
