Android Programming: Android 13 Compatability

We are looking for an enthusiastic Android Programmer. We currently have a working Android App on Google Play that allows parents to track the books read to their children as part of the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten early literacy challenge. However, we have recently learned that the Android App does not work with Android 13/14.

The ideal volunteer would have knowledge on how to update Android Apps so that they are compatible with Android 13/14.

We are the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten early literacy challenge. We have challenged over 1,000,000 children to read 1,000 books before they start kindergarten. Some parents desire to use an “App” to track their reading. Make an impact on the lives of young children. We have the existing source code. We also have a team of beta-testers. We have the backend support ready to implement any required changes.

We have the current Android code. After the update is complete, we hope that it replaces the current app in Google Play.
