Our organization has successfully secured a Google Ad Grant, meaning that we have up to $10k a month in free advertising provided to us by Google on their search engine. No one in our organization has specific experience with Google Ad Grants and the time to self-learn has been limited/challenging. We are in need of someone with Google Ad Grant experience to review and optimize our account for maximum impact.

The Oregon Sexual Assault Task Force (SATF) is at a critical juncture and needs to build our general marketing and outreach to engage with and attract supporters and donors to support our mission. We are a highly respected and valued nonprofit leader in the state of Oregon amongst our peers and colleagues, however historically, SATF has made little investment in building a broad community donor pool and reach, relying more on government and local grants to sustain our work. As these grants continue to face cuts and be outpaced by inflation and the costs of running our programs, we are embarking on new fundraising efforts to diversify our revenue streams so that we can maintain available, sustainable, and flexible funding to operate our programs in ways that best meet the needs of survivors of sexual violence. We are building our fundraising strategy and utilizing Google Ad Grants to drive community members to our website and generate interest in our work is one element of that strategy.

We have secured the Ad grant and set up our account, so work is ready to be done on assessing and optimizing our set up immediately. Our executive director has committed the time to learn best practices and tips for best utilizing this resource and to keep up with the ad grant for its duration, putting into place tips and guidance learned from a skilled volunteer. Our campus coordinator is highly skilled at website design and has built a website that is ready to receive increased traffic, where individuals can access resources, learn about SATF's work and impact, and choose how to get involved and support our work.

Our mission at the Oregon Sexual Assault Task Force is to facilitate and support a collaborative, survivor-centered approach to the prevention of and response to sexual violence. We believe that: Violence and abuse are preventable, and everyone has a role to play in prevention. Survivors of sexual violence and abuse must be heard, supported, believed and meaningfully included in our work. No one deserves to experience violence or abuse. Oppression, in all forms, is the root cause of violence and abuse. This includes, but is not limited to, racism, sexism, homophobia, ableism, xenophobia, classism, and ageism. Note: I always like to clarify that though our legal name is the Attorney General's Sexual Assault Task Force, we operationally most often use Oregon Sexual Assault Task Force. We are a 501c3 nonprofit and are not part of a government agency and our legal name can be misleading. Our organization was originally founded by former Oregon Attorney General Hardy Myers, and the name was given in honor of his role as a founder and a commitment to advancing resources and justice for survivors of sexual assault.
