Website development: WordPress

As a 100% privately funded not-for-profit organization, Bounce invests at least 80% of its limited budget directly into programming. That doesn't leave anything for advertising, which means our website is mission critical to: 1) creating the right first impression, 2) engaging donors, 3) attracting volunteers, 4) connecting with families in need. We have finished the re-design of our website and now need assistance with build out. Both the new and existing website will use the WordPress platform. The new site will use Elementor as well as a handful of plug-ins. Both websites are hosted by GoDaddy.

We need someone with WordPress experience to build the new site as well as make small updates to the existing website. As part of the project, we also need assistance with updates to the plug ins.

Bounce Children's Foundation transforms the lives of chronically ill children, and the lives of their loved ones. With nearly 1 in 5 U.S. children battling a disease for which there is no cure, demand for our support is enormous - and growing.

Bounce alone addresses the quality of life for these children, and their families, when they are not in the hospital. Our family retention rate exceeds 99% and more than half of our new family referrals originate from pediatric hospital partners, both of which speak to the difference we make. We have the highest ratings from Charity Navigator, Candid (formerly Guidestar), Better Business Bureau - and have won a highly coveted Chicago Innovation Award.

With a small team of only four, we are very lean and lack the mission critical skills required to launch a new website. But we are super motivated to make this project happen by year end! Your support will have a HUGE impact and we promise you'll have fun in the process.

Our current website gets great reviews. Building from that strong base, the website has been fully redesigned. And, we've compiled the content. We've even started some of the build out, but due to a change in family circumstance, the volunteer helping with the buildout is no longer available. Here's your chance to really make a difference!
