Canva Design: Updated Booklet

Our goal for this Taproot Project is to update the design of our Drag Story Hour Safety Guide (16 page booklet) to make it more visually appealing and easier for busy library staff to use.

ULU is dedicated to providing library workers with the resources they need to provide excellent library services to their entire community. Updating this guide will help staff planning library programs that may invite aggressive reactions strategically and with a solid plan for the safety of both staff and patrons.

We have a complete brand kit with colors and fonts, and a 1st edition of the guide itself exists as a Canva project. There are one or two areas we need to update as the safety situation around library programs has changed, but they are small areas and should fit into the larger document.
