Mobile App Development

The project focuses on developing a web-based application tailored to the needs of our organization. We aim to create a user-friendly, scalable data management system for the Center for Supportive Communities (CSC) to support its operations. The system will handle key tasks such as mentor/volunteer applications, documentation, scheduling, training, evaluation, student intake forms, assessments, and profiles. This system will serve staff, volunteers, and administrators, ensuring streamlined processes and better service to our community.

We are seeking a skilled volunteer to assist with tasks such as backend development (API design, database management, Dart, firebase, etc. ) and frontend development (UI/UX design). The volunteer will collaborate with our team to create a solution that is secure, user-friendly, and scalable to accommodate our growing operational needs. This work involves both building the system and providing guidance on deployment and maintenance.

In sum, our goal for this project is to create a comprehensive, functional web application that enhances our operational efficiency and supports our mission to create equitable opportunities for youth. The application will centralize data, streamline workflows, and provide valuable insights through real-time dashboards and reporting tools.

This project will directly support our mission by providing CSC with an efficient and reliable tool to manage its programs, improve operational workflows, and better serve children and families. The web application will empower our staff to allocate more time to mentorship and programmatic activities rather than administrative tasks, ultimately enhancing our impact on the community. By ensuring accurate data collection and reporting, we can demonstrate the success of our programs and secure additional funding and support.

My team and I have prepared for this project by:

- Documenting the specific workflows and functionalities required for the system.
- Gaining buy-in from our team, including staff, volunteers, and board members.
- Gathering resources, such as existing data structures, processes, and design prototypes.
- Outlining project goals, milestones, and timelines for clear progress tracking.
- Establishing communication channels and collaboration tools to ensure smooth interactions with the volunteer.
