Website Refresh for Innovative Education Nonprofit

The Field Academy seeks a web designer to assist us with updating the structure and design of our current website. It would be amazing if the volunteer has technical capabilities related to web design/development. We are looking to update our site within the coming months to better reflect changes in our organization, our unique work in the education field, and updated branding and messaging.

Our work will take place over several meetings for six to eight weeks. We'll engage in various check-ins, where a member or members of our team will provide feedback. We would love for a volunteer to provide suggestions about our current site and help us work through creating new site architecture and design options.

The Field Academy offers one-of-a-kind educational programming, and updating our website is a crucial next step in sharing our approach and reaching new partners.

We offer traveling credit recovery programs for students to learn beyond the four walls of a classroom. We partner with public schools to support students struggling in the traditional system, as our programs connect core classes to important topics facing local communities. This project is part of our current efforts to update our branding and marketing materials to reach a growing number of public schools, students and families who are interested in our unique approach to learning.

Our team has been creating new content to update our website and gathering photos and video that help to capture our work. As we're a tiny team of 3, you'd be an integral part of our team during this project. We would be excited to closely collaborate, we just need your web design expertise! Our team has been eager to update our site to better capture our organization's work and story, but as a small and busy team without the requisite technical knowledge, your support would be invaluable.
